Eligibility for Benefits


A soldier in the standing army  may be entitled to the following benefits:

Unemployment benefits to those discharged from the standing army

Those who were discharged from the standing army may receive unemployment benefits immediately upon their discharge.
One must meet the conditions of entitlement to unemployment benefits as any other insured: this includes the requirement to report to Employment Service and completing a qualifying period as any other insured.

Please note, months of service in the standing army will be considered as months of work as a salaried employee.
